As I Sit Waiting is a series of sculptures highlighting the stories of people who’ve had an abortion(s) or were forced to carry their pregnancy to term.

This project is created and facilitated by artist, Lydia Nobles.

Special thanks and gratitude to those who participated in my project and helped me make this possible.

Recent exhibitions and public programming for this project include the Brooklyn Museum, Lyman Allyn Art Museum, Latchkey Gallery, Westbeth Gallery, Cindy Rucker Gallery, and Spring Break Art Fair, among others.

Please see the archive to view installations, public programming, and exhibitions.

I oppose the removal of abortion related artwork at Lewis-Clark State College in Idaho. This film is part of Lydia Nobles’ series As I Sit Waiting.

In a culture rapidly shifting more and more towards video formatted information, this project seeks to use publicly accessible videos as vehicle to end abortion stigma and shame.
