As I Sit Waiting is a series of sculptures highlighting the stories of people who’ve had an abortion(s) or were forced to carry their pregnancy to term.
This project is created and facilitated by artist, Lydia Nobles.
Special thanks and gratitude to those who participated in my project and helped me make this possible.
Lydia Nobles’ project As I Sit Waiting is made possible by the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of the Office of the Governor and the New York State Legislature.
Recent exhibitions and public programming for this project include the Brooklyn Museum, Lyman Allyn Art Museum, Latchkey Gallery, Westbeth Gallery, and Spring Break Art Fair, among others.
I oppose the removal of abortion related artwork at Lewis-Clark State College in Idaho. This film is part of Lydia Nobles’ series As I Sit Waiting.
