I am a New York based conceptual artist critiquing societal constructs that affect gender. My practice engages identity and storytelling as advocacy by extending subjectivity within abstraction.

My current project, As I Sit Waiting, is an ongoing series of sculptures on abortion access or lack therof. As I Sit Waiting is also a fiscally sponsored project of the New York Foundation for the Arts. Selections from this series debuted in two solo exhibitions in 2022 at Field Projects Gallery and Ross-Sutton Gallery. Most recently (2023) two sculptures were included in 50 Years Since Roe: A Convening on Reproductive Justice: Abortion Stories USA at the Brooklyn Museum. Select works will also be shown at upcoming 2023 exhibitions at Westbeth Gallery in New York City and Lewis Clark State College in Lewiston, Idaho.

Select 2022 group shows include Peep Space, Lump, Border Project Space, Lyman Allyn Art Museum, Latchkey Gallery (2022), Cindy Rucker Gallery (2022), and Conn College. Past group shows include Field Projects Gallery (2021-22), The Real House (2021), Pink Noise Projects (2021), LoBo Gallery (2020), Trestle Gallery (2020), Practice Gallery (2019) and Westbeth Gallery (2017), among others. Her work is featured in hypebae, Paper Mag, HYPERALLERGIC (2022) and Smack Mellon’s Hot Picks (Sept 2022). Public programming includes abortion story activism at Spring Break Art Fair, Ross-Sutton Gallery, and the Brooklyn Museum.

I earned my MFA from Parsons School of Art and Design in 2017 with a certificate in Gender and Sexuality Studies and my BFA from Moore College of Art and Design in 2015. I am a graduate of Mastery in Transformational Training and Kaboom Coaching with Preston Smiles and Zion Kim.

Awarded for my achievements and dedication to gender studies, I received the Gender and Sexuality Grant in 2017 from The New School. I recently completed the artist-in-residence program at Field Projects (Manhattan, 2021-22), Trestle Art Space (Brooklyn, 2020) and Pink Noise Projects (Philadelphia, 2021).
